A wee workshop in Dundee
MacLean’s Model Works is a wee one-person workshop in Dundee. Everything in the shop is 3D printed here on our own Bambu Lab printers: Highland coos and wild haggis, Nessies and puffins, thistles and Scotties, and glowing skyline lamps of Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Made for you, not for a warehouse
Nothing sits on a shelf waiting. When you order, your piece goes on the printer and is built up layer by layer, 0.2 mm at a time. A coo keyring takes a couple of hours; a skyline lamp takes five or six. Then it’s cleaned up, checked over and packed by hand.
Up to four colours
Every design is printed in a maximum of four filament colours, using the filament in stock at the time. The photos show one colour scheme; yours may differ, especially if a colour has run out. If a particular colour matters to you, message us before you order and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Ready to go
Everything arrives ready to display or use: no glue, no assembly and no extra parts to buy.
